The realization that healthcare can be much greener is widely shared. But how do you approach it? Learn more about the sustainability of healthcare during the Green Care Expert Meetings. Discover new solutions for sustainable care at one of the five location visits and events, part of the Thesis Lab Green Care program. Hear from healthcare providers, researchers, professionals, patients, and administrators who are working on the sustainability of healthcare. From healing rooftop gardens to reducing medication waste, changing behavior in the workplace, and recycling medical devices. Stories include contributions from Leiden University Medical Center, Erasmus MC, Sophia Children's Hospital, Zilveren Kruis, Johnson & Johnson, Reinier de Graaf, Haga, Van Straten Medical, and researchers from the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus universities.

You can sign up for each activity separately or follow the entire series. If you attend four or more sessions, you will receive a certificate of participation. Limited places are available, so sign up quickly!

The Green Care Expert Meetings are part of the Thesis Lab Green Care from LDE Centre for Sustainability and Medical Delta. Eleven students are conducting their graduation research within the Thesis Lab on sustainability issues with healthcare providers. Through the Expert Meetings, they gain the knowledge, background, and input they need for their research. This year, it is possible for the first time to join in.
