• Innovative solutions for sustainable healthcare

Transdisciplinary research with impact

Medical Delta is a transdisciplinary collaboration of more than 500 researchers from Erasmus University, Erasmus MC, TU Delft, LUMC, Leiden University, and four universities of applied sciences in South Holland. Together with companies, healthcare institutions, and governments, we work on innovative solutions for healthcare.

We do this through research programs and practice-oriented living labs, among other things. These are divided into four clusters that we call 'Societies.' In these Societies, we work on innovations and their implementation in healthcare. Health practice, research, and innovation come together in this approach.

The four Societies focus on the themes of 'Care,' 'Prevention,' 'Transformation,' and 'Sustainability & Greening.'
