We cordially invite you to the symposium Transition to a Vital Future on September 18, 2025, where we join forces with stakeholders from education, research, government, and (healthcare) practice. Together, we work on the transition to a vital future for the Delta region of Leiden, The Hague, and Rotterdam.

What can you expect?

This afternoon is dedicated to knowledge exchange, innovation, and impact. Together, we will look back on our eight-year research program and the knowledge products delivered. In interactive workshops, we will demonstrate tools and methodologies, share expertise, and explore what is still needed to create a healthier, more resilient society.

About Vital Delta

This symposium marks the conclusion of the eight-year SPRONG program Vital Delta (2018-2026), funded by the SIA Regieorgaan. This initiative, supported by four universities of applied sciences (Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, Leiden University of Applied Sciences, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, and Inholland University of Applied Sciences) – together with numerous practice partners – is committed to promoting vitality and health (physical, mental, and social) from young to old.
