The Young Medical Delta Hackathon 2024 is an annual event organized for students. The Hackathon encompasses challenging cases on topics related to health technology, workshops, interdisciplinary teams, goodies, prizes, fun, food, and more.
This academic year, a 2-day hackathon will take place during the weekend of February 17-18, 2024. The hackathon includes challenging problems focused on shaping various aspects of our healthcare system in 2040. Inspiring speakers, interdisciplinary teams, goodies, prizes, fun, food (lunch and dinner), drinks, and more will make this a memorable weekend. The cases are real problems put forward by various stakeholders in the field, such as local hospitals, engineers, companies, and policymakers. The winners of the hackathon receive a prize and have the opportunity to share their solutions through our channels. Besides, each participant will have an unforgettable experience with many new connections and acquired skills. You can either sign up alone or take on the challenge with a friend, family member, study mate, neighbor, etc.
The Hackathon 2024 is intended for HBO, WO Bachelor, Master, and PhD students interested in the field of medical technology. The concept of 'medical technology' is broadly interpreted, encouraging all students who want to contribute to healthcare in the broadest sense to participate.
