Many companies and healthcare organizations offering technological healthcare solutions struggle to find their way to the market. The innovation program ZorgTech provides promising healthcare innovations from South Holland with opportunities to speed up their path to the healthcare sector.

We face the challenge of keeping healthcare affordable, accessible, and manageable. Technology can play a key role in this. With the innovation program ZorgTech, we support entrepreneurs with innovative technological solutions that improve quality of life, move care from hospitals and healthcare institutions closer to people's homes, and/or help patients take control of their health. At the same time, these solutions reduce the workload of healthcare professionals and/or informal caregivers. These solutions, ranging from hardware to software, focus on the diagnosis, prevention, monitoring, and treatment of diseases, and contribute to the prevention, relocation, and replacement of healthcare.

The innovation program ZorgTech is made possible by the Province of South Holland, TNO, the Rotterdam The Hague Metropolitan Region (MRDH), InnovationQuarter, and Medical Delta; the implementation is managed by InnovationQuarter, TNO, and Medical Delta. The subsidy scheme for the ZorgTech Innovation Program is funded by Kansen voor West 3 (Opportunities for the West 3).

What does the ZorgTech Program offer?

Development of technological innovation

Receive a subsidy through Kansen voor West for developing a working prototype, testing it in a living or field lab, and validating your technological solution in practice.

Acceleration of business growth

Receive support for the steps needed to further develop your company and accelerate its entry into the market. Customer and market validation, alongside technology development, are essential. After an intake conversation, we will determine if participation in a Market Readiness Program is suitable for you.

Access to relevant network

Be part of the ZorgTech network and meet other entrepreneurs and experts during our masterclasses and peer-to-peer sessions to learn from each other and share knowledge. Connect with leading field and living labs or healthcare institutions in the region to develop and validate your innovation in practice.
