Within the living lab OnderzoeksOK, processes and systems are being developed and validated to enhance and ensure efficiency and patient safety throughout the surgical process. This is done using a real-life operating room (OR) equipped with measurement devices and sensors, with a focus on the following topics:

  • Monitoring of medical technology and the surgical process
  • Designing user protocols and structuring workflows in the operating room
  • Opportunities to increase efficiency and patient safety

TU Delft and Reinier de Graaf Hospital collaborate in this living lab with partners from the business sector.
