The registration for the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs 2025 is now open. Until October 31, businesses in the upscaling phase can submit their innovations in healthcare and well-being here.
The best innovations of South-Holland will be invited by Medical Delta to the regional preliminary round in December; the winner will compete for the national Jury Award (last year won by South Holland's Juvoly QuickConsult) or the Audience Award (in 2023 won by South Holland's Momo BedSense).
The Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs will celebrate its tenth edition in 2025. Since the start of the prize in 2016, many healthcare companies have found their way to the market easier after participating in the route to implement and scale up their innovation.
Zorginnovatie.nl is the national network for innovations in health and care. Their mission is to support entrepreneurs in (further) developing promising innovations. Companies that have already developed, tested, and launched their innovation often need some assistance to truly make their business a success. That’s why Zorginnovatie.nl will present the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs for the tenth time in 2025; the award for the most innovative healthcare company in the scaling phase. Participants have the chance to win the jury prize of no less than €10,000 or the audience prize worth €5,000.After winning the National Care Innovation Award, you finally sit at the table with the right people. It provides access to a market that you do not yet understand, allowing you to learn it very well in a short time.
– Reinoud Wouters, HelpSoq (Winner Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs 2022)
The Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs consists of more than just the cash prizes for the jury and audience winners. The entire process is focused on showcasing promising innovations. From November 18 to January 24, regional preliminary rounds will take place, organized by the regional partners of Zorginnovatie.nl. During these preliminary rounds, participants will have the opportunity to pitch their innovation in a pitch competition in their own region. Each region will produce a regional winner, who will then continue on as a finalist for the National Care Innovation Award.
As a finalist, you will gain valuable knowledge throughout the subsequent process and expand your network to elevate your business to a higher level. On February 7, there will be a free pitch training session where you will receive the necessary tips and tricks to strengthen your innovation story. Additionally, on March 5, a special Finalist Day will take place, where you will record a professional pitch video. At the same time, you will meet various partners from Zorginnovatie.nl who can assist you with specific themes.
Winning the National Care Innovation Award brought national recognition for the solution we provide. For us, the enthusiastic responses from the healthcare sector are the most important, which is why the audience award confirmed that we can truly make a difference in healthcare.
– Jorien de Jonge, Momo Medical (winner audience choice Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs 2023)
On March 13, the final is scheduled during the Health Valley Event. Here, the finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their innovation to the audience and an expert jury. Each finalist will also have their own booth on the exhibition floor of the event to showcase their innovation to the attendees.
From April 8 to 10, Zorg & ict will take place, the largest health tech event in the Netherlands. With over 10,000 visitors, this is a great opportunity to showcase the innovations of the finalists to all stakeholders in the sector. The finalists will have a booth on the exhibition floor, and the process will conclude on April 9 with a festive announcement of the winners on the Main Stage.
