Frank Willem Jansen appointed Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau

Upon his retirement as a professor of gynecology affiliated with LUMC and Delft University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Frank Willem Jansen received the appointment as Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau last Friday, presented by Nienke van Renssen in the Municipality of Amsterdam.

Jansen was honored with this distinction in recognition of his significant contributions to healthcare. He dedicated himself to advancements, research, and guidance, particularly in the field of minimally invasive surgery. Additionally, he actively pursued collaborations between technology and healthcare, serving as the chair of the collaborative initiative, Medical Delta. As the chair of the 'The National Green OR Network' he advocates nationally and internationally for the greening of healthcare.
