Keynotes: Inspiration from Art and Dance

The conference kicks off in a special way. Without revealing too much, we can already share that visitors will experience the potentially healing effects of art and dance.

Keynotes by Dr. Janine Stubbe (Professor of Arts and Wellbeing, Erasmus University Rotterdam and Codarts) and Dr. Fenna Heyning, under the title ‘Healing Art’, will be presented in a unique and impactful manner.

Through short presentations and on-stage interviews, experts and policymakers—including Deputy Mariëtte van Leeuwen—will discuss the health challenges and opportunities in the South Holland region.

Work Sessions: Collaborating on Health in South Holland Across Seven Themes

During short work sessions, visitors will collaborate with experts and other participants on one of seven health-related themes of their choice. The outcomes will be presented to the Province of South Holland and serve as a foundation for follow-up actions, including an action agenda for the delta region.

The work sessions are divided into the following themes:

  • Health disparities in the region

  • Urban design that benefits health

  • Labor-saving technologies in healthcare

  • Sustainability in healthcare
