Applications for the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs 2023 are open as of today. Health~Holland is looking for the best healthcare innovation in the Netherlands. Innovative care products that have already been successfully tested and implemented by the end user will compete. The winner will receive € 15,000, professional guidance in the further development of the innovation and access to a valuable network.

Regional preliminary round

Zorginnovatie.nl aims to accelerate innovation in care and welfare. Companies that have already worked out, tested and launched their innovation can often use a push to really make their venture a success. This is why the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs 2023 will be awarded on March 30^th; an award for the most innovative company in the scale-up phase.

Medical Delta is organizing the regional preliminary round for Zuid Holland. The presentation of the national prize will take place at the Health Valley Event.

Participants have a chance to win:

• A cash prize worth a total of €15,000 (€10,000 for the professional jury prize and €5,000 for the public prize).

Winner 2022: HelpSoq - makes putting on compression stockings easier for healthcare professionals.

Medical Delta named the company HelpSoq as the winner of the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs 2022. HelpSoq is an electric device that relieves the care professional of the burden of ‘putting on stockings’ and gives the wearer of compression stockings control over their daily routine. Using the HelpSoq, the compression stocking is prepared for donning, with the user merely sliding a ring over his foot. This is a great example of a technological solution for sustainable healthcare.

With the help of winning the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs, HelpSoq has gained tremendous interest. More than a million people were reached through social media, this interest led to improvements to the company such as; product improvement through feedback, establishing a testing program that allowed 15 home care organizations to help more than 600 patients and giving confidence to funders to invest in HelpSoq.

Important dates

From January 6^th  to March 3^rd, 2023, the regional preliminaries will be held during the Slimme Zorg Estafette. The regional partners of Zorginnovatie.nl will select the most promising innovation from their region during the preliminaries. The nominees will advance to the finals on March 30^th, 2023.

Jury prize and audience award

After the announcement of the finalists at the end of March, each finalist can campaign to win over as many public votes as possible. The innovation with the most votes will win the public award. A professional jury will consider the nominees and evaluate them in terms of content. The members of the jury will be announced later.
