Registrations for the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs are now open. For ten years, the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs has been helping healthcare entrepreneurs bring their innovations to market faster and scale them up. Companies that have already developed, tested, and launched their innovation often need an extra push to truly turn their business into a success. That’s why Zorginnovatie.nl annually awards the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs: the prize for the most innovative company in the scale-up phase. Participants have the chance to win the jury prize worth €10,000 or the audience award worth €5,000. The Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs is sponsored by ING.

The regional preliminary round for Zuid-Holland is organized by Medical Delta.

A journey full of opportunities and growth

The Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs is about more than just prize money. The program offers finalists various opportunities to showcase their innovation and further strengthen their business.

From November 2025 through January 2026, the regional preliminaries will take place, organized by Zorginnovatie.nl’s regional partners, including Medical Delta for the Zuid-Holland region. Here, entrepreneurs pitch their innovation to a broad audience. Each region delivers one regional winner who will advance to the national final.

Finalists receive valuable support, including pitch training and participation in the Finalists’ Day, where a professional pitch video is recorded and networking opportunities are offered with the Zorginnovatie.nl community.

From pitch to exhibition stand: visibility on two major stages

The final of the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs will take place on 12 March 2026 during the Health Valley Event. Here, the finalists will pitch their innovation to more than 600 attendees as well as a professional jury. Each finalist will also have their own stand on the exhibition floor to showcase their innovation to visitors.

As a closing highlight, the finalists will be present from 14 to 16 April 2026 at Zorg & ict, the largest health tech event in the Netherlands. With more than 10,000 visitors, this is a fantastic opportunity to put the finalists’ innovations in the spotlight for all stakeholders in the sector. The finalists will have their own stand on the exhibition floor, and on 15 April the program concludes with the festive announcement of the winners on the Mainstage.
