The 26th European symposium on Ultrasound Contrast Imaging iis held online from 14-15 January 2021. Latest developments on ultrasound contrast agent imaging in both the clinic and research are presented.

Topics in previous editions covered safety, clinical cases, therapy, drug delivery, vascular imaging, molecular imaging, imaging techniques, and technology. The conference is well known for its good organization in a small-scale setting, which invites for lively discussions between the participants throughout the day. Special attention is given to young investigators during the poster presentations. This year’s competition topic is: artificial intelligence with microbubbles.
