Curiezaal, Mekelweg 15, Delft

13:00 - 18:00

We are pleased to invite you to a special workshop series designed for medical professionals who are curious about nuclear physics and its growing role in our field. This project had been funded through an NWO grant for small innovative projects within the national science agenda (NWA – see: https://www.nwo.nl/en/projects/aumww84148)

The aim of this series is to reduce the barriers and apprehensions often associated with nuclear physics, while highlighting practical tools and insights from the nuclear physics community that can be directly applied to medicine. Together, we will explore how these approaches contribute to:

  • The discovery and development of new medical isotopes
  • Advancements in therapeutic applications
  • Innovations in medical imaging

This workshop series will provide a welcoming environment for open dialogue and cross-disciplinary learning. No prior expertise in nuclear physics is required—our focus is on practical understanding, collaboration, and bridging the gap between physics and medicine.

Please sign up until May 2nd!

We are looking forward to seeing you in Delft!
