The voting for the National Healthcare Innovation Award 2025 has been opened

The digital voting booth for the National Healthcare Innovation Award 2025 is now open. You can vote until April 8 for what you believe is the most innovative healthcare innovation in the Netherlands. PraxaSense has been nominated as a finalist representing Zuid-Holland.

Zorginnovatie.nl aims to accelerate technological innovations in healthcare and welfare. Enterprises that have developed, tested, and launched their innovations often need a boost to truly make their business a success. That's why Zorginnovatie.nl is awarding the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs for the tenth time this year—recognizing the most innovative enterprise in the scaling phase. Finalists have a chance to win the jury prize worth €10,000 or the public prize worth €5,000. The winners will be announced on April 9, 2025, by Prince Constantijn of Orange during Zorg & ICT.

Praxa Sense Represents South Holland

The Delft-based company Praxa Sense was crowned the winner of the Zuid-Hollandse preliminary rount for the National Healthcare Innovation Award 2025 during the Medical Delta Café on December 11. Praxa Sense developed ALIS, a sensor that can measure biosignals more reliably in people, as ALIS is significantly less affected by motion artifacts and darker skin tones due to the technology used. Additionally, ALIS offers an extra layer of data in the form of blood flow speed, enabling the remote monitoring of additional vital signals.
