Project MARCH takes new steps based on interdisciplinary approach

Usually, you don't realise a simple walk through the city is full of obstacles. Our brains constantly estimate, consciously and unconsciously, what it takes to walk without falling. A team of students worked on an exoskeleton that can also make these kinds of estimates. At August 19, they unveiled the latest version.

KNAW Ter Meulen Grant for Nawin Ramdat Misier

PhD candidate Nawin Ramdat Misier (Erasmus MC) is leaving for Dallas thanks to a KNAW Ter Meulen Grant to do research on the sinus node, 'the battery of the heart' in children. With this he wants to gain expertise in pediatric cardiology electrophysiology for research.

Patrick Tang receives Mosaic grant for PhD research into precision irradiation of brain tumours

Thirteen PhD students will start their PhD research with a NWO Mosaic 2.0 grant. One of them is Patrick Tang MSc. He is doing research at Erasmus MC, within the scientific programme Medical Delta Cancer Diagnostics 3.0: Big Data Science of in & ex vivo Imaging.
