One of the initiatives to accelerate innovation and research towards greener healthcare is the Interdisciplinary Thesis Lab 'Sustainable Healthcare,' which Medical Delta has set up in collaboration with LDE Centre for Sustainability. Master's students from various disciplines and academic institutions dedicate their master theses to research on the real sustainability challenges of hospitals and the industry.
Within the Interdisciplinary Thesis Lab ‘Sustainable Healthcare,’ master's students search for answers to research questions submitted by hospitals and medical technology companies. From February to July, the students conduct research, guided by various practice experts such as healthcare professionals and technological innovators. The master's theses produced provide new insights and sometimes concrete solutions for making healthcare more sustainable. These are offered to the clients and made publicly available, contributing concretely to the sustainability of healthcare.
